Yay! The 2nd party for gaw 08 is finally over. Somehow I just can't wait for it to be over asap. Probably it could be due to the fact that I do not feel the strong bond being forged and I certainly do not think everyone is very close to each other. This is so unlike pah oc where I feel really really happy and bonded. Maybe tt's y no matter what, yr 1st experience will always be the best? If I am not wrong, I learnt last sem in econs that yr satisfaction utility decreases as you increase your quantity so maybe this is the case? Oh well, still got 1 more party at deaf.
But anyway, today gaw party at grace orchard was really great. I can't really say that it was a total success due to the lousy magic show & PA system but other than tt, the performance was wonderful. However, I felt really happy when I saw the kids happily opening up their presents and proudly showing off to each other. All of us could really tell that these kids were genuinely appreciative as they kept thanking us non-stop. As compared the last sat party whereby the kids were not as appreciative, I really felt bad for not being able to give the kids at grace orchard the best performance. Although, I know sometimes some things cant be helped but at least I know for sure, wish cell did try our best to bring a smile on each kid's face. For that, I must really thank my fellow wish assts:)
In addition, I think the main reason why I had so much fun at GO also was most probably due to the presence of my fellow KAHUians. Haha was really glad that 7 of them (sz,hx,hl,germs, gg,cg &victor) came down to help out! Although I felt really bad that they came all the way down with some rushing down from sch and all they did was just to distribute presents. Haha but I know you guys had lots of FUN rite? And as usual, Kahu had the most no. of ppl present again:)))
After the party & my quick oc debrief, we went to IMM to plan for gg's bday celebration. Our initial plan was to trick gg that we were all going home but in actual fact, we actually went to IMM to wait for him. It was hilarious to see his reaction! So at about 6, we were all sitted at swensens using the menu to cover our faces waiting for him, cg & frens to arrive. So when they finally arrived, I think we really surprised him? Haha unless he alrd knew what was going on.. Dinner was super exciting for all of us except sz? haha cuz we kept trying to see which 1 of the 3 frens that cg brought along is suitable for sz. Super funny can, pratically got cg to evaluate all 3 of them for us. However, after awhile, I suddenly got attacked too. Irritating can, everytime with kahu they will always ask me the same qns! Haha seriously my ans to the qns is I REALLY DON'T KNOW. Ok so gg kindly treated us for the dinner so we ended up paying for his present & the ice-cream cake only. After dinner, we went to the rooftop to chit-chat for awhile b4 going back.
