2 more wks & is back to sch. Well, not really something tt I am looking forward to since i am having so much fun during the hols! Ever since exams ended, my days have been filled with activities, meet-ups, watching shows & packing as well as unpacking ALL my room stuff.Haha, indeed a substantial amt of time was spent clearing & cleaning my room stuff which might not have been touched 4 a no. of yrs. Now, with my new furniture set, I love my room even more! Anyway, let me try to recap how I spent my time during my hol...
14/12- Beach-o-holic
This event was organised by the sports cell. Initially, me,pat,zr,sm & yd signed up as a grp to play captain's ball but when we got there, somehow we just dun have the urge to play. In addition, zr cld not go.Haha wanted to escape from playing but we failed. In the end, we played 2 games, 1 against the lycans & 1 against the archi ppl. Won against lycans but lost to the archi ppl.. At least we didnt lose all as yd expected since he was the only guy. I think we managed to win also bcuz of this guy whom they added to our grp & he is super super pro! Actually, we only played after lunch so b4 lunch, the 5 of us & occassionally mh decided to be anti-social by wandering off away from the seniors n other ppl to another place. We played vball amongst ourselves & lazed ard the beach. Sometimes, is really not the no. of ppl ard tt matters but rather the company tt u get tt matters most. As usual, quality surpasses quantity.
18/12- DE Club Retreat
Quite surprised tt i actually went for this but I was glad tt i did. Met mh & vincent at pasir ris mrt at 11. We went 4 lunch 1st b4 heading to the chalet. We were supposed to go to the coasta sands resort(parsir ris) but we went into the downtown east 1 instead! Super dumb cuz we actually paid 1 buck each to enter!
When we reached, the seniors were playing playstation games so we just sat ard & waited 4 more ppl to reach b4 starting the games. The 1st game was the "bom chi chi" game but slightly diff frm mochamelts version. It got all of us so confused but nevertheless, everyone ended up laughing most of the time. After tt, we went to pasir ris park for the subsequent games. We were splitted into 2 grps- Biz & pub cells 1 grp & sports & welfare another grp.2nd game was some 1-min game whereby we have to complete severals tasks within 1 min. Tasks consist of passing a polo sweet using toothpicks, passing a balloon, getting 1 person to memorise a 11-digit figure & another to transfer a potato chip from his/her head to the mouth & 5-ppl human pyramid. Haha, cant remember who won. The 3rd game got all of us so DIRTY! haha it wasnt intentional cuz it rained earlier so the grass was quite muddy. For this game, we had to walk in a str line blindfolded, following the person in front of us. The seniors & OC were so evil la, kept disturbing us while we were blindfolded! Haha but they got a taste of their own medicine after we reached out 'destination' cuz we made them do wat we did. In fact, I think they got even dirtier! After tt was some dodge- the- sponges & pick-up-the-eggs games. Following tt, we went to wash up b4 starting the bbq! Actually, I think there was not enough food cuz it somehow ran out quite fast.. Well, I must say that this retreat was rather successful, quite a no. of ppl turned up 4 the bbq altho not many turned up 4 the prog during the day. Quite happy, managed to make new frens & get to know the seniors & fellow sch mates better! Oh, after the bbq, every1 tt was playing polar bear! It was super fun espec if u kena the polar bear! haha.
20/12- Duck Tour
In the afternoon, met js to buy serene's boy boy bday present. We shopped ard suntec for quite sometime b4 deciding on buying this scooter cum walker. After tt, me & pris went to sit on the duck tour which cheryl was taining! Haha, it was quite an experience but I think pris & I were fooling ard more than listening to Cheryl speak! Haha sorry cheryl but thanks for sneaking us in for free! After the tour,pris had to go back to hall 4 her xmas party so only me & cheryl went 4 dinner. We needed to settle the mochamelts xmas party stuff & also the drawing of lots of the gift xchange. Speaking of which,I want to complain! Cheryl is evil! haha, kept wanting to pair ikea & joel and me & zq just becuz 4 most of the diff mtds we used to draw the lots, the 4 of us kept ending up as the last 4. In the end, zq bought 4 me, i bought 4 joel & joel bought 4 ikea. Of all the combinations, cheryl had to pick this.
22/12- Serene's boy boy bday celebration
It was nice to c my colleagues once again. I love tt familial & warm feeling whenever I am with them. As usual, they nv failed to stop suan-ing me.Left abt 3 plus & thank u serene 4 inviting us over!
24/12- Mochamelts XMAS Party
This yr xmas eve was probably 1 of the best ever! That is bcuz it was spent with mochamelts! Haha. Cheryl,Ikea,YY & I met up earlier in the afternoon to buy food , decorate cheryl's house to give the christmasy feeling as well as to wrap the presents & come up with forfeits . We thot we had alot of time but we only managed to finish everything at 6plus. Thank goodness some ppl were were late so by the time they reached cheryl's house, it was 7 plus, giving us ample time to get everything done. We ordered pizza & ate dinner 1st b4 starting the games. We started off with polar bear & played 4 quite some time b4 changing to the next game. Haha, I seriously cant be the polar bear cuz I wld give myself away easily. Ikea told me she could hear or feel my movements so she knew it was me! The 2nd game was PASS THE PARCEL. It was cheryl's idea, must be attributed to her deprived childhood. So funny to c every1 throwing the parcel ard instead of passing. The 1st 1 tt kena was kenny & we all decided to sabo cheryl so kenny had to use glitter glue to write merry xmas on cheryl's arm. So funny to c the both of them.. 2nd forfeit was playing the santa claus game which was easy. Brenda kena & since cheryl was the only 1 who knew how to play, she had too play with Brenda. 3rd forfeit travis kena & he & cheryl's bro had to transfer a balloon frm their head to their feet w/o using their hands! At certain angles, it looked super wrong! 4th forfeit was easy & zq just sang a xmas song. The 5th 1 was quite terrible- person who kena have to pick a person of the opp gender & blindfold the person who has to feed the person kena water. Joel kena & I have no idea y but of all ppl, joel had to choose me! So, moral of the story: Never plan games or come up with forfeits cuz somehow u will just kena it. Haha but i didnt say i was the 1 who came up with the forefits mah.. Lucky i got skill, so none of us got wet! Haha, ppl ard me so mean la, tried to scare me so tt i will pour the whole cup onto joel & cheryl even had the whole entire scene video-ed! The last forfeit was the most fun 1 cuz it was targeted at sm. It was part of the bday surprise tt we planned out 4 her. So obvioulsy, she kena & had to pick a guy to do a pole dance. Unfortunately, she was too shy. After tt, we celebrated her bday & gave her a super huge toy! As gerry had to leave early, we proceeded with the gift xchange. Haha, dunno who was the 1 tt came up with the idea tt u must take a pic with person who gave u the present & the reactions after opening up the gift..Haha. Only me, sm,brenda,joel & kenny could stay over at cheryl's house but ikea stayed till abt 1plus. Thus, we practically didnt sleep the whole night cuz it was spent playing indian poker with truth or dare as the forefit and talking. Haha and we went to eat breakfast at 6plus. Tiring but i really enjoyed myself! Thanks cheryl 4 opening up yr house!
