The whole of last wk had been rather busy and hectic! Rag on mon,wed & fri from 2-6plus and work on tue & thurs. Even my weekends were not spared but at least they were very productively spent!
On sat, Mochamelts met for a fireworks outing! All freshies except ee hiang turned up and i think all the councillors came! Haha, best grp must be enthu and live up to its name right? So, we were supposed to meet ying yin at 5.30 at cityhall but the grp tt went to HCA & LB were very late! Didnt join the grp for the HCA & LB as i wanted to work on my colleague's gifts and also, I seriously dislike visiting homes. I would love to and prefer to devote my time in organising charity events etc to help charity organisations. Anyway, after everyone reached, we made our way to the esplanade. By the time, we found a nice spot, it was already packed with ppl la. It was actually the NDP rehearsal and the fireworks were only seen towards the end! Nevertheless, the company was really gd with all the funny, lame and crappy stuff we talked or joked abt. After tt, went for dinner at suntec. Apparently, we stayed till we were 'chased out' of the foodcourt cuz it was already 10 plus and the foodcourt needed to close for the day!
Sunday-Mochamelts came down for Project Can 2007. I really enjoyed this event alot! It was really fun go around the diff blks and knocking on the residents's doors to ask if they would like to donate any canned food or dried foodstuff for some charity organisations. Me, ee hiang, marcus & zq formed 1 grp and not too bad, quite fruitful! It was indeed very heartwarming to see the generosity of the residents, willing to extend their helping hands to help the less fortunate. Like i say b4, I dun mind volunteering myself for any of this type of projects or events as long as I do not need to visit homes! Ok, after this whole thing, Mochamelts went for dinner at pizzahut! We ate till we were so full and ended up playing funny games! haha, quite sad tt i had to leave earlier to send soo ling off but at least I know tt Mochamelts will have many more outings in the future whereas for soo ling, I might not be able to meet up with her anymore unless she comes back soon. So, stayed at the airport till abt 11 plus b4 rushing to catch the last few buses. By the time i reached home, it was nearly 1 am. However, I felt tt i spent my day very meaningfully.
