Back from a 3 days 2 nights company trip to KL yest! Overall, the trip was fun but it definitely could have been better if there was more time to shop! As such,i only managed to buy a watch,bag, 1 pair of shorts, 1 shirt , 2 blouses and earrings, was expecting to buy more...Oh well, it may be gd in a way cuz i get to save more money!
So, let me start with day 1: Met my colleagues at golden mile complex at 730am. Boarded the bus around 8am and reached KL b4 2pm. The bus ride did not appear to be very long and it was quite comfortable as we could move the seat up and down. Haha and the coolest thing was tt there was a small screen in front of each seats for us to either watch movie,play games or listen to music..Of cuz, i chose to watch a movie (harry potter) and my colleagues were ultra surprised tt i was super quiet the whole journey. Well, I decided to be a nice girl and spare u guys the agony of listening to my crap and laughters.:) Upon reaching, we or rather our boss decided to take lunch 1st b4 checking into the hotel. So, the stingy boss went to food court to eat whereas the 8 of us went to kenny rogers. After lunch, we checked into Micasa Hotel which i must say, is super duper nice! I am so happy with it, gd service, tight security, nice TOILETS, clean bedsheets and scrumptious daily breakfast! 1 room was shared by 4 ppl each and my colleagues were so nice to let me have the master bedroom with the marble-floored toilet. Shared a room with angela,shirley and esther and angela was my sleeping partner! haha,now she can vouch tt i do not laugh in my sleep!
So, after dumping all our bags at the hotel, we took the hotel shuttle bus services to Lot 10. shopped abit there b4 heading to sungei wang. Didnt managed to buy anything there except the watch. Oh and angela almost got lost! The highlight tt nite was the cab ride back to the hotel after shopping! It was such an 'interesting' experience! Initially, the driver, an old chinese man did not want to drive us back cuz we were only willing to pay 10 rm. Eventually, he relented and agreed so we went into the cab. At first, I thot it was quite normal 4 air-con to be faulty and 4 the windscreens to be down.After awhile, there was a strong petrol smell, I was trying so hard not to breathe, almost died la. It also felt like the taxi could explode any moment. Nvm, way b4 we reached the hotel, he asked 4 the 10 rm 1st, so shirley gave him. weird again. Being the typical me, i always look 4 the taxi car plate no. each time i board a taxi and to my horror, i could not find it! weird.As he was driving, he was also attempting to write something on a piece of paper! Never knew guys could multi-task. When we finally reached, I quickly 'jumped' out of the cab and guess wat, my slippers dropped! haha, and shirley was like laughing la! not my fault k, i just cant wait to get out! Angela was telling me tt she was praying so hard tt we could reach the hotel safety, thank God we did! So, when we gathered at serene,lynda,clara & her sis room after we all bathed, we were telling them our cab ride experience and they just cant stop laughing! so mean la.
Day 2: Day started off with a wonderful breakfast provided by the hotel. Ate so much tt my colleagues told me tt this was the 1st time seeing me eat so much.haha. After which, took the shuttle bus service to KLCC. Shopped there for a few hrs b4 breaking up into 2 grps since some of us wanted to go chinatown whereas the rest prefer Time square. In the end, only me,shirley,esther and her sis went to Time sq and the rest to chinatown. Time sq is really a gd place to shop espec with esther as the 'tour guide'! haha she really super auntie!! So cute la! About 6 plus, went to sungei wang again to meet esther another sis for dinner. By the time, we reached the hotel, it was 11 plus and my poor feet were aching like mad! Since it was the last night, slept nearly close to 2 plus.
Day 3: Woke up quite late. Went for breakfast. Packed all our stuff in preparation for the checking out. Before tt, took many pics in the room and of cuz, how can i miss the TOILET! haha. After checking out, did some last min shopping at Time sq again and I managed to buy a shirt! Kinda rushed but better than nth. Boarded the tour bus at 3 plus and is time to bid farewell to KL. Took a cab home from golden mile complex since my bag was super heavy and finally reached home at 945pm.
All in all, I really enjoyed myself this trip! Seriously, I feel that my colleagues act like my frens and since 3 of them are already mothers, I feel loved too!
