At last, submitted all my uni applications! Was super stressed the last few wks over all these applications..actually more like the essays component only cuz I had to crack my brain to come up with impactful and concise words or sentences to 'sell' myself..haha,this sounds so wrong. Thankfully, I got my personal editor to help me! A BIG THANK YOU!Oh well, really hope tt at least ntu would be kind enough to accept me..Sigh, it really sucks when u get border-line grades. Anyway, no use worrying too much now, shall just leave everything to to God cuz I am sure he knows what is best for me.
Oh and yest i received a letter from sr informing me tt i have been awarded the prize for community champions award(merit). I have no idea why but this award just make me feel super weird or rather embarrassed..I mean of all awards,it just had to be this.. haha was actually hoping to get academic-based awards but looking at my grades, I think it just a wishful part of my thinking. Fyi, tt's not the worst part.. the letter stated "Kindly note that all award winners are requested to dress formally for the occasion(white long-sleeved shirt,tie and pants for men and executive wear for ladies)". Can't they also specify what ladies should wear!! But actually, i dun see the pt of dressing so f0rmally..is only college day isn't it?
On a happier note, had dinner with my colleagues and their frens just now. Not too bad i guess, at least i wasn't stoning somewhere alone. In fact, I think I laughed too much.. Sometimes I really wonder why I can click with them so well, espec the maternity lady who just came back! haha, maybe cuz she is only like 8 yrs older than me and she has a comical face which always cause me to laugh non-stop. Dunno la, i think I am always super high and crappy in office that i would just end up laughing at any minute stuff. I seriously hope tt I did not irritate anyone so far..
