Today marks the 5th day of cny..can't believe tt 1 wk seemed to have passed so quickly. just a wk ago, altho i was physically at work, my mind was already in the cny mood. Haha all thanks to the cny songs tt were incessantly played over the radio..I still remembered tt my colleagues and I were all pia-ing to finish up as much as we cld so tt we cld leave once we are done with the 'spring cleaning' the following day.Notice the inverted commas..:P
Had reunion dinner with my mum''s side relatives on fri.The food was delicious and I was glad tt it was not the normal steamboat kind of dinner. Prior to the dinner,while waiting for my sis, I met up with mayping since both of us worked half-day only..
The actual reunion dinner on cny eve was at my cousin's house, my father side.. Before tt. met up with wilson cuz he wanted to give me a treat. Tt guy, really nv change at all..
At last, 1st day of cny..attended church in the morn before heading down to my cousin's house where most of my father side relatives would just gather here. Really thankful for tt as it would save time and all the trouble from travelling from 1 place to another. Each yr, I look forward to cny as this appears to be the only time where i get to meet up with relative and cousins whom I hardly see during the yr or those meet once-a-yr-only relatives. Haha but the main highlight is of cuz to collect angpows!
The 2nd day was initially reserved for my mum's side but we ended up visiting only 2 homes so continued again on day 3. I think my sis and I are crazy over kueh lapis, practically craving 4 it when we visit ppl's house but i guessed the best is still the 1 tt mayping gave me.. all the way from indo can..
Anyway, visitation is almost done..Left with only 1 more home to visit, most likely over the weekends.I think I ate alot the past few days so hopefully i did not gain any weight!
